In this piece 365 rotis morph with the waxing and waning images of the moon as if aeons of time were passing through an ever-changing annual lunar almanac. The rotis transform slowly and as each one completes its life cycle, the entire lunar year will also have transformed, moment-by-moment. Within the life cycle of this short three-minute video the eternal flow of time is manifested through a parenthesis of time in the form of a year.

If we look at a moment in the video when, lets say, the 1^st of Jan is momentarily visible as a full moon, that configuration would correspond to any year that has gone by, or any year that is yet to come when the 1^st of Jan was (or will be) a full moon. Thus one moment in the video could tally with the lunar phases of, lets say 2012 AD, while another moment soon after could correspond to 05BC, yet another to 2738 AD and so on…
